- Last Will and Testament of Alexander Reid, Junior, dated 17 November 1892
I, Alexander Reid of Township Fifty one in Kings County Prince Edward Island, Farmer being of sound mind make this my last will.
I give devise and bequeath all my Estate and property real and personal whatsoever and wheresoever, to my beloved wife Margaret Reid her executors, administrators and assigns, Subject to the following bequests that is to say. To my son David Reid I give one dollar. To my daughter Elizabeth Moar one dollar. To my daughter Jane Moar one dollar.
I make my said wife Margaret Reid, Mr. George R. Moar of Baldwins Road, and Mr. William Reid of Murray Harbour North executors of this my last will.

Signed, published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament, in presence of both of us, who in his presence, and in the presence of each other, and at his request, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to this his last will and testament. Dated this seventeenth day of November 1892.

This Will was proved on the 20th day of February 1894 on the Oath of James Moar one of the Subscribing Witnesses thereto, and was filed and registered the same day. And on the 4th day of May 1894 Probate was granted to Margaret Reid, the other two Executors having filed their Renunciation. As certified by Richard Reddin, Judge of Probate.
